We finally had our June wedding at Chateau de Varennes this summer after a 2-year delay due to Covid. Aurelie has been our lifeline throughout these two years since the first day we met her at the venue.
She gave us the grand tour of the Chateau, and that's a big reason why we chose it for our big day. We shopped around with different planners, but none compared to Aurelie. A million thanks and kisses to her!
She's a total rockstar and the absolute best wedding planner we could've hoped for. Even with our crazy requests, Aurelie always delivered and went above and beyond our wildest dreams. She's super prompt with her replies, always up for a call, and would do anything for her brides. The planning and communication rollercoaster of the past two years has come to an end, and it feels kinda empty without our daily chats.

I truly cannot say enough about Aurelie. I was planning a wedding that was in France while I was in the US without ever seeing the venue or being able to meet any of the vendors, taste any of the food, in only 6 months and in the middle of the COVID pandemic.
The only way I was able to do it was because of Aurelie. She worked tirelessly, through all hours of the day and on weekends to make sure that everything was perfect. She was always available to answer my questions, get me through my anxiety and to make sure absolutely everything was getting done.
She not only helped with the wedding day, but she coordinated the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, gifts for the guests and was available for the best man to plan a quick bachelor activity during the weekend. She was up before any of us and went to bed the latest. She was available to every single guest throughout the weekend to make sure they were getting what they needed. She even stepped up and officiated the wedding last minute!
Every single guest was raving about her and her dedication towards making the whole weekend was amazing. This is very long but it is all to say that I could not have had a better person by my side throughout the whole process! Booking our wedding at Chateau de Varennes came with a delightful surprise—a wedding coordinator included with our package. We anticipated having someone to help with the day-of coordination and timeline development, but Aurelie surpassed our expectations.
For a couple planning a wedding abroad, having a coordinator who was not only local but intimately familiar with the venue was crucial. Aurelie’s knowledge of the chateau, event flow, and nearby vendors was comprehensive, and her recommendations for layout and design were invaluable in crafting an exceptional experience.
With her expertise, we assembled a stellar team of vendors, including photographers, videographers, DJs, florists, bakers, hair and makeup artists, and rental services (many of which we would never have found on our own). While we had an idea of what we wanted, Aurelie ensured that each vendor worked together to match our style and vision while respecting our budget. We placed our trust in her, and she made our ideas into an unforgettable reality.
Before and as we arrived at the chateau, Aurelie swiftly addressed our setup inquiries, ensuring our guests' comfort throughout their stay. The result was a three-day celebration that was not only stunning, but also deeply memorable for us and our guests from across the globe. She really is best in the business. I trusted her so much that I would tell her to pick what she thought was best, which is not easy for a micromanager like me.
The day of the wedding was impacted by bad weather and all of our plans had to change (we had planned for everything to be outside and had to move the location of the ceremony, cocktails, and dinner) but Aurelie handled everything with such ease and in the end I didn’t feel impacted by any of the changes.

We truly cannot say enough good things about Aurelie (as both a person and a wedding planner!). We worked closely with Aurelie for over a year to plan not only our wedding, but three and half days of meals, activities, accommodations and transportation for the 60 guests we had flying into France from Canada. We exchanged many emails, sat on hours long video calls and in the weeks leading up to the wedding messaged constantly to go over details big and small to ensure that our guests would have everything they needed and that we would be able to relax and enjoy our wedding week.
Throughout every step Aurelie was there, always happy to chat, give helpful advice and point us in the right direction. She went above and beyond what I would expect from a wedding planner. There was not an aspect of our wedding that she didn't play a critical part in coordinating. We could not have pulled off such an epic party without her.
From the moment we arrived to the day we left, our wedding was truly magical and a huge part of that is because we had Aurelie looking after all of the details, big and small. We had the most delicious food, our guests (many of whom had not been able to travel for the 2 years prior) were thrilled to be there and we got to enjoy every single aspect of each day. From the welcome dinner, which Aurelie coordinated to perfection and even designed beautifully as a surprise to us, to the day of the wedding, when the entire staff at the Chateau and those who came in as external vendors (all of whom were suggested to us by Aurelie!) worked tirelessly to make everything perfect. To the next day, when we walked into a red and white themed (for Canada!) mimosa brunch (again, a thoughtful surprise from Aurelie who I don't think slept all week!) and spent the day clay shooting, sitting by the pool, enjoying delicious charcuterie and wine and reminiscing about the absolutely perfect wedding the day before.
We could write a novel about all of the ways Aurelie made our wedding a once in a lifetime experience for us and our friends. Every single guest came up to us to comment on how dedicated she was throughout the week. They couldn't believe the lengths she went to in order to make everything perfect. We can't thank her enough for giving us some of the happiest memories of our life. And we are lucky to now call her a friend! She is truly one of a kind!

She was so incredible - working with us for just over a year to make the wedding of our dreams come true. She was always quick to respond and willing to look into any crazy idea we might have, determined to make it the wedding of our dreams. While my husband and I were planning this wedding from 5000+ miles away, we still wanted to be very involved, and Aurelie helped us with every choice and executed everything we needed seamlessly.
She had great vendor recommendations, always suggesting vendors she thought would fit our vision/style and getting us competitive rates on things. She then spent the whole wedding weekend with us (since we did a destination wedding, we did a whole weekend) and made sure everything ran seamlessly. Despite some bad weather (it rained on our wedding day), it cleared up just enough during the day that she was able to make our dreams of an outside ceremony come true. Aurelie went above and beyond with the decor, making our ceremony and reception more beautiful than we had imagined or planned.
While some things like bad weather or running late to arrive might've stressed us out, Aurelie always had the most calm demeanor and in control attitude so we never felt stressed about any of it - we knew she had it under control and it would go seamlessly. She handled even last minute requests - from finding someone to help preserve my bouquet just weeks before our wedding, to setting up a last minute movie screening night during the wedding weekend or literally running to grab us a special bottle of wine to celebrate on our wedding night.
No detail was too small for her to take on to make our wedding perfect, and I'm so grateful we had Aurelie there to envision and execute our special day with us!

She was absolutely amazing during the whole process and completely on top of everything, not only in preparation of the day but also the whole weekend. We got married at the beautiful Chateau de Varennes in August.
We were initially assigned a different planner but after 3 date changes due to the pandemic Aurelie took over and we couldn’t have been happier. On the run up to the wedding she was always available on whats app for any questions and we had regular zoom meetings to go over all the details.
With a newborn baby and living in the UK we could never have organised this wedding without the amazing Aurelie. She planned the wedding and subsequent days to perfection.
From the moment we arrived we felt completely at ease, Aurelie and the staff at Chateau de Varennes were so welcoming. We felt like we could just relax and enjoy the whole experience from the get go.
The day of the wedding went like clockwork. Aurelie dealt with all the vendors, we didn’t have to do anything. It was the most stress free day. Everything was absolutely perfect!
Finally on a personal note, Aurelie is such a warm, friendly person, and we are so glad to have met her and had the privilege of her expertise on one of the most important days of our lives.
She was so kind and helpful with our 4 month old and still checks in on how we are all doing. You can tell she is really passionate about her job and genuinely cares about every couple she works with. She makes you feel special, which is all anyone could ask for on their wedding day.

You need to hire Aurelie at Peony Moments ASAP to help with your wedding or any big event. She is truly amazing at what she does and a joy to work with. We had originally planned our wedding for May 2020 at the Chateau de Varennes in Burgundy, France and had initially been assigned a different wedding planner. Because of the pandemic, we had to postpone the wedding twice and were later lucky enough to be assigned to Peony Moments for wedding planning help.
We had such a stressful time due to the pandemic, but once we had Peony Moments on our team for our final date, things just started clicking into place. She helped us redesign the decor, make smart suggestions based on our reduced guestlist and goals, and served as a fantastic go between/translator with our other vendors who spoke limited English. I appreciated how detail oriented she was and how patient she was with our endless questions on what's app. She also had an assistant / venue coordinator Alex who was awesome to work with too.
I'm not sure how she juggles all these weddings! We were very understanding that she'd be preoccupied with all the weddings that were postponed before us but she still made time to update us and go through our detailed timelines/spreadsheets on Google several weeks before the wedding. The fact that she was tech savvy enough to communicate with us on our cloud documents was incredibly helpful since we were in different time zones and both my husband and I work a ton. She also connected so well with us on our vision and was able to find a florist and rentals vendor who both did an amazing job executing our modern and romantic look for a price that was comfortable for us.
As we approached the wedding date, Aurelie was in constant communication with us and was so kind in directly helping many of my guests with transportation and check ins (note we had a small group of about 30 guests). For example, one of our guests could have been stranded due to a mix up on their end about their transportation, but she was on the phone with several different taxi cabs working out a way to help this guest for a good 30-45 minutes. Aurelie and her assistant Alex did an incredible job setting up our welcome dinner, pool party, rehearsal dinner and just answering any questions about the chateau from our guests.
On the actual wedding date, I was floored by how well she coordinated and executed everything just as we had planned. She got all our name cards right (we had a unique set up), everyone's dietary needs were carefully followed, and the whole ceremony and reception was more than we could have hoped for. Weddings are super stressful for the bride and groom and the fact that Aurelie handled our stress so well really speaks to her ability as an event planner. She was always respectful and was so good at talking to me when I had a small moment of indecisiveness about where to have the ceremony (inside or outside due to the chance of rain - glad she talked me into having the ceremony inside!). Most importantly, Aurelie was fun to hang out with, quick with suggestions, and so incredibly organized. We are beyond lucky to have had her work with us on our special day!

Let me start by saying that if you are looking for a wedding planner that can make your dreams come true, look no further! Aurélie is simply the best and I am so grateful to have had her by my side through the whole wedding planning process and our big day.
She is a bright light and created a comfortable environment from the moment we met her.
We were planning a French countryside wedding from Los Angeles, so finding a planner that spoke English and French, who knew the area and best vendors, and who could help bring our vision to life from afar was so important.
